These courses combine:

  • WriteAtHome’s expert-led writing instruction and individualized feedback

Give your high school student expert writing instruction designed specifically for Sonlight without adding more books, more planning, or more stress. Your student will work one-on-one with a dedicated writing coach who will meet them at their current skill level and provide individualized guidance, instruction, and encouragement on each assignment.


Sonlight High School Writing 1A & 1B

$299 per semester

These semester courses combine WriteAtHome High School Writing 1A and 1B with writing assignments from Sonlight Literature 130.

Each student will have a personal writing coach who will coach them toward improvement by providing personalized encouragement, direction, and instruction on all papers.

Sonlight Research Paper

$199 per eight-week workshop

This eight-week high school course is designed to equip students to write a sound research paper, from the initial stages of developing a topic or thesis, through the research and note-taking process, to a revised and polished final draft. MLA formatting will be used and assignments are chosen by the student/parent.

Students receive individualized instruction from an expert writing coach who provides targeted feedback, coaching, and revision guidance tailored to their current writing skills.

Sonlight Student’s Choice Writing Workshop

$199 per eight-week workshop

This eight-week high school workshop provides foundational writing instruction, and students are able to submit any writing assignment they choose. Each workshop allows students seven paper submissions.

Every student is paired with a personal writing coach who understands where they’re starting and helps them grow through thoughtful instruction, clear direction, and supportive feedback on all their writing.
