Teresa Hadyka

Teresa Hadyka grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, and was homeschooled from 5th through 12th grade. She went on to attend Old Dominion University, where she earned her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education. After graduating, she taught 5th grade Language Arts in public schools for seven years.

She always thought she’d stay in Virginia forever, until she met a submariner who later became her husband! Military life has taken them from Charleston, SC, to Groton, CT, and now sunny Southern California.

The Hadyka family has grown to include an awesome dog and two even more awesome daughters. She loves her role at WriteAtHome and the opportunity to pursue her dream job: developing curriculum AND teaching students! 

These days, Teresa spends her time at home with her girls, looking for the best parks, hiking local trails, reading on the beach, and wandering the aisles of Costco.
