Refund Policy:

If a charter school student withdraws from a class prior to the start date of the class, we will refund the full price paid for the course to the school. WriteAtHome needs to hear from the school in order to cancel purchase orders and withdraw students.

If a student withdraws within the Trial Period for a class due to dissatisfaction with the course, we will refund 100% of the price.

To receive a refund, WriteAtHome needs notification from the school and a refund request form from the parent.

Trial Periods are as follows:

  • Annual courses: the trial period is the first 100 days from the start date of the course.

  • Semester courses: the trial period is the first 50 days from the start date of the course

  • 8-week workshops: the trial period is the first 30 days from the start date of the course

If a student withdraws for a reason other than dissatisfaction with the course, or withdraws for any reason after the Trial Period, they will receive a prorated refund (by month) if the request is received before 50% of the course time period has elapsed. The unused portion of what was paid will be refunded to the school.

No refunds will be issued if more than 50% of the course time period has passed. Parents are responsible for costs not covered by their charter, including balance due for classes, if your student withdraws after 50% of the course has elapsed.
