Nancy Vest wrote her first short story in second grade in response to a Norman Rockwell painting. She continued to write stories and poetry throughout her school years, completing her first novel at 13 and contributing to her high school’s annual literary magazine. Nancy earned an A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy and worked in the medical field for several years before marrying and having children.
Nancy began homeschooling when her children were young and graduated them from her homeschool. During the homeschooling years Nancy continued to write, and she earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Several of her devotional pieces and articles were published, too. After 'retiring' from homeschooling, Nancy self-published two literature study guide series. Currently, she is preparing to self-publish the first in a series of family history journals.
Nancy enjoys reading, movies, playing cards and board games, genealogy, vegetable and herb gardening, Dr. Who, NCIS, the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
