Nancy Vest wrote her first short story in second grade in response to a Norman Rockwell painting. She continued writing stories and poetry throughout her school years, completing her first novel at 13 and contributing to her high school’s annual literary magazine. Nancy earned an A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy and worked in the medical field for several years before marrying and having children.
During the years when Nancy homeschooled her children, she continued to write. She also earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Several of her devotional pieces and articles were published, too. After 'retiring' from homeschooling, Nancy self-published two literature study guide series.
Currently Nancy blogs about family history, genealogy, and life stories on her website. In the fall of 2017, she self-published the first volume in the Easy Family History Journal series. This first journal concentrates on the growing up years. It is available on Amazon.com.
Nancy enjoys reading, movies, playing cards and board games, genealogy, vegetable and herb gardening, NCIS, the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
