Linda Knowles is a former attorney who spent her early career writing for appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. As someone who made her living with language, she understands the importance of the written word and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. In 2000, Mrs. Knowles left the law behind to raise and homeschool her children. She has also taught kids in her community everything from archery to public speaking to U.S. History. She loves meeting each student at their current level, then developing their strengths while helping them address their weaknesses. Mrs. Knowles enjoys reading, and can be found with everything from children's books to medieval histories. In her spare time, she is learning to play the ukulele. She lives with her family and their 6 cats in a hundred-year-old house in Eastern Washington.
