Ann Clay is a retired elementary and secondary English teacher who lives in Ladysmith, Virginia. She lives with her husband, Gordon, and their two teenage sons, both of whom have been homeschooled since birth. Ann has a bachelor’s degree in education and is a participant in the National Writing Project. She has been published in Voice, the magazine for The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers [also contributed to their website (VaHomeschoolers.org)]. Mr. and Mrs. Clay used to live in Egypt, and they love to travel, especially to historical spots. The Clays have two cats, and they’re thinking of getting a dog for the first time. Mrs. Clay likes reading and watching biographies and nonfiction, and she loves to write and correspond with her online students. They bring her a lot of joy and entertainment.
