Amy Wislosky

Amy Wislosky is a graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor's in Communications and a minor in Literature. She worked as a writer and editor for six years in the newspaper industry before deciding to go back to school to pursue teaching. This was (partly) inspired by a fortune cookie that said, "If you can't be a poet, be a poem." She is currently a literature and writing instructor at a small public high school and occasionally writes freelance articles for local publications and websites. She lives in northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband Matt, their son Luke, and their dog Penny, a lovably anxious Golden Retriever. Even though it has worked out for her so far, she does not recommend making major life decisions based on fortune cookies.
